Today a lot of people use Google Drive service. But once you deal with the issue of transferring files from one account to another, searching the web will most likely tell you that it's quite complicated and requires administrative privileges or even that it is impossible.

Here is the solution:
there is a Google Drive add-on Transfer Files' Ownership in the Google Workspace Marketplace
and a web app called Move Files
Files retain ID and version history after migration. Folders are created and have a new ID. All permissions are reset and inherited from the target folder.

That is how it works:
1. At first you select the source files, folders or even drives.
2. Move Files allows you such things as
- transferring files across accounts,
- making copies,
- making a list of files and folders in the chosen source,
- duplication of folders structure with no files or with shortcuts to files.
Let's select Transfer files to continue.
3. Select the target and click Start action.
That's it!

Sometimes you might have thousands of files to transfer and doing it one by one would cost you an incredible amount of time and effort. Then with Move Files it is just a few clicks here and there.
