Waiting for the FBI's eventual "He was on our radar" response.

The Mayor says they have set up a fund to assist victims. Why do they need a fund? Because, in the U.S. if someone hurts you, you will need to beg the public in order to cover the crushing medical bills you are about to receive. In other words, we set up this fund for you because the government isn't going to do what it was designed to do. You have to depend on charity, while they pocket our tax dollars. Ohhhh how merciful our government is.

If he did it in the name of ISIS, he's by definition not the sole perpetrator, is he?

I’m just gonna say it. It is horrible. I understand the impact of this event, but I feel like more people are being inspired to commit horrible acts like these.

This is the last thing Mayor Cantrell wanted to do today. She just sounds so sad and disgusted this happened in her city. My heart goes out to the families that are dealing with this heartbreaking 💔 tragedy.

Mayor Cantrell spoke with such a loving spirit for her city and the people affected by this tragedy. It’s good to know there’s a big team investigating this horrific act.

Why in the US (and only in the US) do 40 people have to be crowded behind whomever is giving this press briefing? Could not these individuals' time and efforts be better employed elsewhere than standing in front of cameras? Nowhere else thinks grandstanding on the backs of a tragedy to be acceptable. 😢

Saying the old "thoughts and prayers" is as useful as saying "avocados and pears."
