I'm so glad that someone else in the medical field feels like me! I'm always an outsider and people wonder what my problem is. I also always feel bad around kids that have a cold. It's not their fault but for me it's just.... BRRR 😣

As an EMT now nurse I learned early on that most healthcare professionals are disgusted by snot/phlegm the most. C diff is also pretty gnarly of smell. And rotting flesh.

As a health care assistant with poo and pee on a daily basis my worst bodily fluid to deal with was snot and vomit, I really couldn't deal with that! I completely get her, I would be heaving constantly, still javing to deal with it and trying to be professional!

Absolutely I’m the same! Not bothered about any of the others but snot is disgusting.

saliva and snot gross me out far more than poop, urine or vomit. I'm pretty unbothered by all traditional "gross things" and have almost no gag reaction to gross things but spit and snot can mess me up sometimes. Also have been called weird for finding vomit more gag inducing than poop. I can deal with poop around me, cleaning it up and the smell with ease but when dealing with vomit I have to cover my nose if there's a noticeable smell.
