There’s no doubt about it ... we all want a luxurious, full head of hair. Although hair loss is most commonly associated with men, women also face this problem.

Have you noticed more hair in your brush lately? Is your hair falling out in clumps? Do you look in the mirror and see scalp where you used to see hair? Losing anywhere from 50 to 150 hairs per day is considered normal, but when you start losing more than that, it becomes problematic.

In this episode of Ancient Medicine Today, I share the steps you have to take to stop hair loss now, including the best essential oils, vitamins, supplements and diet — as well as things you absolutely must avoid (some of these might surprise you!). I’ll also be going through how to get thicker, longer and healthier hair. Watch to learn more about the home remedies for hair loss!

I Personally decreased mine hair fall with these. Detangle your hair easily with a wide tooth neem comb to avoid breakage, especially when hair is wet and more prone to breakage. Use liitlleextraa cocooninon herbal hair oil and shampoo 2 times a week. This is important step of my hair care routine and performed well in hair fall control.

I can see much improvement in my hair. I 've been using reactivate serum of liittllextraa now 4 months. It has become a habit. Specially, so little hair fall that you can't even notice. Furthermore, my hair has now grown longer with new hair growth and volume has specially increased. I am very excited with the result.

I have studied hairloss for thirty one years and this is the very best information I have ever seen and so lucid and succinct. Dr.Axe is a credit to humanity.

Great recommendations as always. My hairline was receding a bit years ago and I started testing out these solutions, and they definitely work! It has stopped receding completely! You'll have to find the combination that works best for you through trial and error. My body didn't seem to like Saw Palmetto, but many of the other options worked. Here's what worked for me to stop my receding hairline:

Supplements: Collagen Protein, Pumpkin Seed Oil, Multi-vitamin (called "Hairforce"), Cod Liver Oil, Biotin (5000mcg), Diatomaceous earth (silica)

Diet: There are certain things I try to eat everyday. Pumpkin Seeds ( Zinc, Iron), Molasses (Copper), Sweet Potato (Vitamin A), Organic Chicken (Protein), Broccoli (Vitamin C, K), Avocado (Potassium), Coconut Water (Potassium), Grass-fed butter (healthy fats). Reduced -> alcohol, sugar. Eliminated -> Coffee, gluten, GMO foods, hydrogenated fats

Lifestyle: 8000+ steps per day -> I start shedding more if I'm immobile

This seems like a lot, but I eased into it all slowly and tested things out one-by-one. I encourage you to explore Dr Axe's suggestions here and find what works for you. Best of luck to everyone!

I realized I literally don't breathe when I'm stressed or anxious. After periods of this "not breathing, " I notice my hair loss accelerates. I've been doing deep breathing excercises and my hair loss has stopped. If anyone is like me and holds their breath or takes shallow breaths when they're stressed, remember to BREATHE!

My husband of 57 years passed away 6 months ago and my hair has been falling out by the handful the last couple of months. Thanks for the information.

I've had fatigue, low energy even after waking up, thinning hair and hair loss for over 6 years. I started taking iron supplements that also include other vitamins by floradix. It has been 2 minths and my fatigue has improved a lot. My hair loss has decreased.

Before this I tried so many things and they didn't work, I used fenugreek seeds, aloe vera, fish oil supplements, vitamin C, Vitamin B12, hair massages, over 10 different shampoos and so much more. That didn't work. You need to keep things natural as much as possible. Get a blood test done. Have balanced diet etc.

I recommend everyone have their blood tested to see exactly what is going on. I did and found my hair loss was due to low iron. Look up ferritin and hair loss. Also it takes at least 3 months to build iron levels back up. And hair only grows 1 cm a month. So if you have lost a lot of hair it is going to take awhile to get it back.

Can you answer for me:
1 What does dht do in the scalp?
2 Why are there receptors for it there?
3 What does blocking it there topically do negatively to my body?
4 Does it make dht flow more through my body?
5 is dht produced in the scalp or just end up there?

Hairloss indicate mostly that you have IBS/ leaky gut as much as acne that is connected. Everything is togheter - skin issue like acne, brittle nails & hairloss. All depends on gut issue. Always the best to invest microbacteria (probiotics) because that's the way first to health and beauty outside.

Thank you. This is the video where you have given the best advice I have ever heard and read from anyone in the internet, after doing vast research. People dont remember that their emotional problems and the stress these cause, are the culprit of so many illnesses and bad medical conditions. I thank you again for an excellent video.

Another reason for hairloss, specially for women is low ferritin levels in your iron. I found taking iron has helped me get some hair back. I need to try your other suggestions too. Being keto has helped as well. God bless.

Saw Palmetto caused massive shedding in me, and never produced any good results after 1 year of use, so that one I'll be avoiding.

I love Dr Axe for everything he’s helped me with especially battling Candida Overgrowth as bad as I did, thought I was gonna die god had a different plan!
No sugar since June. All superfoods. Been adding a few things in due to the loss of weight. Had all my blood work done. Everything came back good and I am somewhat relieved but staying as sugar free as possible cause I know it will come back. I’ve done my research! Thanks so much Dr Axe for all
