I had just found out that pokemon can spawn in the walls in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, and this happened!
Makes me wonder how many shiny pokemon we've all missed in Gen 9...

I noticed this a while ago while hunting in the hidden cave in area 0. I’ve checked every outbreak location since to make sure there aren’t any of these that would make it to difficult to shiny hunt.

There’s actually a hill on the map somewhere where outbreaks can occur and the whole outbreak will spawn inside the hill. Not even on or around it.

I caught a shiny litleo last night in a wall, I was going for a male and found a few females and the last one I found was deep in the wall. I had noticed this could happen before and luckily checked in the loop I was doing but yeah I don’t like thinking about how many were potentially missed before I realized this could happen..

And there’s still not been a fix, I’ve had an outbreak of lucario and 98% of the spawns were inside a mountain had to use the lock on feature and clipping the wall with the camera just to see what was there..

i found a shiny iron moth in a wall once! i was hunting for one in a pretty tight spot and decided to check the wall on a whim for the first time in my hour of searching and it was fr right in front of my face
