I’m in so much awe right now! As a kid growing up with some traumatic things, I listened to Eminem religiously, I felt I could relate in some way to his songs. Now that I’m in a long overdue healing process, and recently came back to Christianity. Parents told me he was a bad influence, and yea some songs werent the healthiest for the soul, but I idolized him out of any other artist. Then Eminem releases this song! I can’t even explain how POWERFUL this is to me right now. And we have the same birthday. Eminem, if no ones told you this, throughout all your songs you helped me through a lot of shit even if some weren’t the best influence on me as a child, and now you have TRULY helped me confirm where I am in life and not to be afraid of what others say about me (I’ve gotten a lot of backlash from saying I’m Christian and it’s been hard for me trying to learn how to talk to others without them assuming I was going to “pressure” them into my religion because of how other Christians do that) I can’t even explain the way you have affected my life, and what you did for me today. God always has a reason, don’t forget the power you have to touch millions of peoples hearts with your music!
