It is normal for New tanks to be cloudy

Can you still put fish in after a week and a half after cycling but it is still cloudy

Hello,
I have a small 2.5 gallon tank and just set it up with rocks, 2 small fake plants, and a pineapple cave. I put in the conditioner the fish store recommended. It’s been 48 since I set up the tank and just added a water heater and Aquarium salt 24 hours ago.
I noticed my tank is cloudy and I see some bubbles on the plants and rocks. No fish are in the tank
yet, is this normal ? Thank you!

Hi question here, I have two gold fishes one recently passed so I got a new tank for the one who’s still living. I bought 10 gallon tank and set it up approximately 4 days ago. I waited 24 hours before adding the fish, since I’ve added him the water went from clear to super cloudy. Just wondering how long still it clears and if he’s safe in there. He hasn’t been very active lately.

I notice that if you use UG filters..you skip that. Of course..with the gravel in the tank being the filter, you cant cover it with rock, corals. But for all fish? UG filters and a strong pumps make a long term low care tank.

Just setup my new tank, had to put in the Natures Ocean bio active sand and it was really cloudy for 24hrs..its gotten better after 3 days but still not clear. Any suggestions?

So can I put new fish into the water whilst it's cloudy. Also he said the tank would clear up with time, how much time? Minutes? Hours? Days? Weeks? Months?? Thanks x
