Voltage is how hard electricity is being pushed through a wire, current is how much electricity is flowing through a wire, and resistance is how hard it is for electricity to get through the wire.

So what’s the difference between one level of voltage/potential and another? All other things being equal, what factors physically affect the amount of voltage in a particular power source? This is something that nobody seems to explain which limits my ability to understand.
