Really appreciated the way u r explaining but few corrections
1- In Haddop 1 default block size was 64MB and in Haddop default block size is 128MB.
2- NameNode do not write or add data block in Data node. It is the client who write/add data block in data node by taking the information of data node from name node.
3- Every block will be replicated in another data node based on the default replication factor.
