I went to Leshan a few summers ago and saw the big buddha! It's vastness is mind-blowing. Sichuan is a fantastic part of China - I also recommend going to Jiuzhaigou whilst you're there for it's geographical beauty as well as experiencing some Tibetan culture.

Its really interesting to know that you're actually a romantic person, especially with the fact that you're a physicist. Lots of scientists in the world didn't even bother themselves with relationships or marriage, like leonardo da vinci or isaac newton. In your opinion, what does it mean to keep a relationship while pursuing your life-time passion at the same time in your life? And what do you think is more important?
