The Hori Knife is my favorite gardening tool

It’s good to know Nicole that you don’t require so many tools to garden, thanks for the tips 👍🏻

I coveted a hori hori knife for years until my son gifted me the tool a few christmases ago. They are a bit pricy but will last a lifetime and can be passed on. Its a substantial and sharp tool so you'll need to wear the sheath and holster it when not in use. It cuts twine, measures planting depth, can be used as a digging trowel for setting in plants and bulbs, has a blade for cutting tender shoots and stems and the serrated edge is a mini saw blade for pruning small branches and woody stems.

I snapped 2 of these hori knives. One was within a couple days of getting it. Cheap steel. Go with nisaku

I saw one great tool you have but didn't mention, the Worx Aerocart. I hope you like yours, I've had mine now for several years and love it. So versatile.

Interesting video. That workman pouch, looks a bit big for you. You could always try a nurse's pouch, they're a bit smaller, cheers Graham..

My most used is a miniature trowel and the stirrup hoe.

Just a note, hoes and shovels should be sharpened! I think about 35 degree angle. But go 25 degrees, it'll cut better. Just use a file. Like if there's roots, a sharp shovel works so much better. A regular hoe, it cuts through any type weed easier.

I love this chick. She doesn't apologize for background noise or lighting. Doesn't say this is easy.( my biggest peeve with utubers). No bro science. Legitimate information. Doesn't act dumb or try too hard to make jokes. Her sour dough video for advanced was hilarious to me.
