I upgraded from a Fuji XS 10 to the XT5. Why did I do this. Well impartially it was to actually fix it for the future. In other words. I wanted to actually get a camera that will actually service me for the next 15 years. Like mini have said the extra megapixels think of them as crop megapixels so gives you the ability to crop. I shoot a lot of landscapes and lots of other things as well and we never perfect with what we shoot we try to be, but we never perfect, and sometimes we have to crop, those extra 40 megapixels are so significant when it comes to cropping. So think of them is cropping megapixels not 40 megapixels. It's a good way to get your head around it. I reckon three months in I do not regret my decision to purchase to Fujifilm XT5 it is simply an outstanding piece of tech and you really can't go wrong with it. If you are on a very very tight budget though, and you cannot afford it, then don't buy. There are plenty of other Fujifilm cameras that will take fantastic photos for half the price that would be my point also. If you are a person that does large prints then it makes sense to get the more megapixels as this will help in printing that said you can print pretty large even with a 20 megapixel camera, especially the software these days you can do an enhance feature on Lightroom to get more megapixels and sharpness into an image. So while I'm raving about my Fujifilm XT5, I understand human beings aren't made of money and we just can't simply spend every cent on what we want all the time, but if you can afford it, I would get the XT5 it is simply an outstanding piece of tech

I'm still struggling between the XS-20, XT30II or the XT4.
I'm often gonna use is for all day photography, like nature, family, travel. Do I need IBIS? Do you recommend an older famous body like the XT30II for daily fun or should I pick the XT4 or the XS20. XT5 is probably just a little to expensive to me.
For me, dual card slots are great (since I now use the A7 mark III), but don't think I will need it so much.
I just miss the joy of photography with the A7 mark III and since I only use Sigma ART glass for professional work on that body (which are heavy ass lenses), it isn't a great allround camera.

I have he XT20 but it's having problems now so I am thinking of upgrading to XT5 but now I think ill upgrade to XS20 for video since I always shoot videos as well and it shoots open gate.

I have the S2, I HATE the flippy screen and Ibis is another level up on the T5. plus better screen res and ELD on the T5. think I will sell and upgrade to %5 soon. Miss the dials I had on the T3 yrs ago 😁

I am planning on buying my first camera, and I am looking at the x-s10, x-s20, and the x-t5, all with the 18-55 kit lens.
Right now, the x-s10 is 6000 ron, x-s20 9000, and x-t5 10.500.
I wasn't considering the x-t5 initially, but given the relatively small difference, I am actually looking at it also. Maby even the x-t4, which is cheaper than the x-s20, at 8500 ron.
The x-s20 is the first on my list because it s newer and upgraded, and, most importantly, for me, I read that it has a great auto mode.
My question is, how do the auto modes of the x-t4, t5, and s10 compare with the one on x-s20, and which would you recommend.
The camera will be used for taking photos of my hyperactive children and landscape/travel.
I know there are cheaper options, but I am a somewhat enthusiast photographer and my phone and bridge camera just don't cut it anymore.
I am asking specifically about the auto mode because I need a camera that I can start and take a good photo of my moving children in a second or two. But also I want something with more advanced options when I have time to tinker with the settings.

What if I shoot RAW on my XT4? That compensates for dynamic range limitations I would think.
