Myself an insurance surveyor & loss Assessor for all companies irrespective of PSU & Private, each policy has compulsory deductibles, For cars below 1500 CC it is 1000 & for above 1500 CC it is 1500-2000. Apart from this if policy does not have coverage for consumables then nuts, rivets & oil etc are not payable & also there is salvage deduction for metal parts, in PSU it is standard 5% for all metal parts replaced & in Private it depends on insurer mood😂.

Comprehensive ( 50-50 ) - insurer pays 50% of loss .
Nil depreciation - 100% insurer liability minus the excess clause (1000rs, 2000rs for vehicles above 1500cc)

100% cash less hota hai bus madam ko nhi pata...you just need to pay claim filing charges of 1000 to 2000 and rest is taken care of...personally used that claim 5 times and never paid anything 😂😂😂

I didn’t understand a single thing. I’ve filed insurance claims five or six times (once every year)—I own a Baleno and a Crysta—and all I pay is Rs. 1000–2000 as a filing charge and nothing else. Once, I filed a claim on my Crysta for Rs. 2.1 lakhs, and the entire amount was paid by my insurance company. So if anyone can explain what’s going on, please take a moment and explain.

Completely wrong, comprehensive Policy doesn't cover 100% cashless. Cashless policy comes under bumper to bumper or zero depreciation Policy with nominal file charges. Don't spread fake
