I have just bought a Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Pro, Chinese edition, and am having problem pairing it with my Redmi 9 phone. Bluetooth on the phone states the pairing has been done however the MI Fitness app cannot find the added device. I have booted and rebooted both and have tried Bluetooth off/on on the Redmi but just cannot get the MI Fitness app to find the device. Also the watch list shown on the the app does not have the 8 Pro, only the Xiaomi Smart Band 8 (not Pro) Help please!!!

Has anyone here tried using the Chinese version in the U.S., set to English, and have you then been able to successfully access the watch face store section of the app? It's usually not a problem with Xiaomi watches, but Huawei has screwed me out of faces every time I've owned one of their watches, as a resident of the U.S.

Unfortunatelly i bought 7 pro. It has to sync every night or it loses all data from previous day. Thats so wrong that i got back to my mi smart band 5. Is 8pro same on that part?

If i’m not mistaken you said here around 2:30 ish that there’s no speaker, and still not support bluetooth calling.
So how will it work for listening to music or call? Or does it mean that we cannot call with this band? Then what’s the use of the mic?😅
