Tiger Blacksmith sells 6 of them in NG+. He'll also give you another curio slot each play through I believe. At least I've seen them stacked up to 5 so far.

I never understood why developers do this. You give us all these armor pieces but don’t give materials to use it. You need at least 1-2 to craft each piece then however many to upgrade it’s dumb.

Fully upgraded my Pilgrim armor in the first playthrough, despite so many channels and Internet hinting that you can't fully upgrade mythical in one playthrough

I was afraid to upgrade any armor. Would rather craft. But now that I'm heading into NG+, does armor really change appearance if I upgrade it?

It's pointless. By the time you get them you already have the best armors: bull or wukong. The rest are pretty much useless. And NG+ offers almost nothing new besides 3 staffs and a couple items, and no challenge at all. The game in general is quite good but it gets boring soon with such limited combos and weapons
