The thing is, it's actually incredibly easy to kill cancer. The problem figuring out how to not kill the patient along with it.

I believe clear labeling is very important.

It won't stop me from buying it if it's cheap, but it needs to be clearly labeled for the general public's sake.

It’s gonna get to the point where I’m just gonna hunt my own food and make my ancestors proud

At this point, we just need to go ahead and have our own farms and gardens 😂

Being a meat and seafood clerk in a store, for fuck's sake if my location gets this shit they better tell me every damn detail cause selling 'lab grown' food gonna be tough as hell man.

My location alone, most asked question is 'Is this farm raised?' Not only am I obligated to speak the truth, now I gotta make sure you know how good it is INSPITE OF being raised on a farm. And look; not all farm raised foods are the same.

There are brands I trust to sell to y'all and brands I'm skeptical of. I hate your ignorance of my profession when you come at me with an attitude.... but I sure as hell ain't gonna sell you what I wouldn't want. Personal pride in this. Food be sacred. Especially your meat and your fish when you take that home for yourself or your family.

“If you or a loved one ate the mutant meat and are suffering from asshole cancer, stomach cancer, ball cancer, vaginal cancer, or mouth cancer you may be entitled to financial compensation.” Is gonna hit different in a few years.

To be fair, this is as close to the opposite of killing specific cells as you could possibly get.

The cure for cancer corresponds with the stages like if it is caught at stage two typically they can pump hormones in your body and your body does the rest once it essentially had it's booster. The thing is after stage two typically you are looking at terminal, which means chemo/radio therapy instead of hormone therapy and that does a whole lot of wear to the body. So it is you on your last legs and have 2 months tops be it due to radiation poisoning or chemo not killing it faster than cancer is killing you.

Also there are a few other methods they had been testing like white blood cell transplants and even nanobots that attach to the cancer cells and eat it, but sadly the white blood cells see the thing attacking the cancer more as a threat than the cancer itself when used actually on patients instead of when they were testing on growths that they cut.

I’m not surprised if we all start dropping like flies all of a sudden.

Dammit Fredo... I'm a scientist (Biochemist, biomedical researcher). While I had nothing to do with this particular project, I have to explain to people all the time that most scientists are like me. People with families and friends that we love and want to protect. We put our heart's into the projects we work on, to make the world better. We wouldn't do stuff to cause harm to people we care about.

I'm cool with lab grown meat... if there's a label on it, and if I won't get a third arm if I eat it. I just want that Star Trek "Make a T-Bone Steak Medium Rare out of Molecules in 2 seconds without having to kill a cow" tech, if we're not there yet don't force it on the masses

If it tastes good, sells cheap, and is plentiful.
You can call it as good as sold for me

Cloning animal cells is actually a lot easier than people think. And in that regard we've been eating clones for longer than you think, especially when it comes to the produce section.

Edit before someone cries at me: I'm not saying don't label it and I'm not putting down anyone who won't eat it for whatever personal reason. I'm just pointing out that it's not as crazy as it sounds.

This reminds me of when we first approved clone cows for beef and everyone freaked the fuck out and it turned out to basically have zero difference and nobody could tell and everyone just stopped talking about it.
