Jak 3: Part 18: Returning to Haven City and the Sewers

(I had reloaded my save file at this spot. It auto-saved after the fight, but this reloading made me forget in the recording that it didn't save my weapon upgrades so that will happen later.

After a ride through the Catacombs and a trek through the Eco Mines, Jak & Daxter finally return to their home of Haven City.

...or at least what's left of it... on the north side of the city.

All that will be here are those scorpion Metal Heads, but this means you can get some free Skull Gems out of them. You can also go through more challenges by Torn, again, before you even get to meet him in person again.

Go to a white barrier that blocks off the way to a new version of North Town, and Jak & Daxter will finally see his original friends again: Samos and Keira (who has a new voice and a slightly new look in the face).

Samos sensed Jak's eco getting closer to the city, so he had a hunch that he would soon see him again. Apparently, the Metal Heads and KG robots are trying to reach the Catacombs themselves just like Veger is.

For now, Jak & Daxter can use the Sewers to get to the Port/South Town of Haven City, and then from there, they need to figure out how they can get north to reach Samos and Keira.

The sage and his daughter also felt sorry about Jak being thrown into the Wastelands... Jak was ready to take revenge on Veger for that.

The Sewers are completely different in this game, and just like in Jak II, you'll be going through three missions involving this area throughout the game.

The path you'll be going through here has you fight more Metal Heads, and there are even some Jetboard path for your to mess around with.

The music for the Sewers is pretty nice, too. Be sure to check for alternate paths, as well, as they will often lead to free Precursor Orbs.

The end of this sewer route should bring you to the South Town of Haven City, where Daxter's inherited saloon, the Naughty Ottsel, is located.
