Upgraded from 10 to 11 using their update. Got taskbar flickering in games which literally made them unplayable. Tried every fix I could find and nothing worked so I had to go back to Win 10

Did you have HAGS enabled while testing in Windows 10? It's disabled by default in Windows 10 and enabled by default in Windows 11. It makes a huge performance difference in some games

I recently switched to win 11 and it feels more slow and laggy than win 10 that i had to go back to win 10

I don't do Roblox but my son does. is there a way to bench mark internet based games? he plays on windows 10 for now so I would like to know if there would be a benefit for him?

Can't find a single game when using Windowed Fullscreen which still runs faster in Windows 10 (including Metro Exodus). Fullscreen Windows 10 has some advantages, however updates stop in October 2025 when free support stops and you need to pay for Windows 10 updates.

I have 2 PCs at home on win10. At work, we all use win11 machines. Sometimes win11 will loose functions like copy & paste. Some basic things in file manager will stop working. Sometimes search inside file manager cant find basic file name. If you work "in folder", you constantly need to do refresh to see updated files. Sometimes feels just slow to so I have to constantly restart PC. At home, win10 is rock solid. I had 4 attempts with win11 at home and my working/gaming rig was slow all around. Specialty in gaming. Last time I tried was 24h2 and it was the same story. On top of that you have to deal with recall spyware so... October is around the corner and Im looking for the reason to go back to win11 but nothing has changed even OS is 4 years old. Its still feels like beta.

Changed to 11. No more sudden FPS drops in Marvel Rivals and silent hill 2 remake.

Specs used? Can't decide between w10 or w11 for my new build now. DLSS seems to be better on w10 but performance in new games seems to be better in w11 according to your benvhmarks. Also did you use DLSS during any of these?

For me I get better fps and smoother gameplay on windows 10 for COD
4090+7800x3d

my processor temps increased by 10 celsius since the last 3 updates of windows 11 (the laptop is new, bought him like 3 months ago, asus tuf A15 gaming ryzen 7000 and i play mostly football manger 2023, wow classic, which spikes my cpu temp to 93 celsius ) what should i do ?? anyone any ideas pls . EDIT !!! i figure it out, changed the boost to efficient, set up the overclock to never go past 4000mhz, never got past 80 celsius so far

I mostly now use Arch Linux now and Windows 10 on an external SSD for when I want to play games with kernel level Anti-Cheat or VR games.

Wth, incredible stuff! I was thinking about upgrading the windows just to use dual nvidia gpu+lossless (3080ti+3060), which I'm failing to do in win10. But some games seems to be doing double performance in your tests!

10 is way smoother imo, running 7800X3D and RTX4090. I tried 11 and still am running 11 today but the feeling 10 gives when I do go back is just better imo. I do benchmark a lot.

Did you have resize bar enabled on Windows 11?

Apparently that reduces the 1% lows on Windows 11 for some reason.
