Sulak Canyon is a canyon in the valley of the Sulak River (Republic of Dagestan, Russian Federation), the deepest canyon in Europe.
The length of the canyon is 53 kilometers, the depth reaches 1920 meters, which is 63 meters deeper than the Grand Canyon in the USA and 620 meters deeper than the Tara River canyon.
The canyon is one of the most famous and visited natural attractions of Dagestan.
