Indeed this is a traditional folkloric rythm from Hepirus, but the melody is Danti's composition. The song was performed by many vocalists since then, so it was not difficult for Korpiclaani to find it and take the melody...

The song is not even Danti's.. It's a greek folk traditional song from region Hepiros. Greek songwriter/vocalist Chris Dantis put some lyrics on and then gave the song to another Greek female vocalist to sing it named Paola. The song's name is: κουβέντα στην κουβέντα and here it is..
