20th Anniversary 'Journey To The Past' Performance | ANASTASIA The Musical

We celebrated the 20th anniversary of the film, Anastasia with a special performance of "Journey To The Past."

ANASTASIA is now on Broadway at the Broadhurst Theatre.

When I was younger I would lay on the floor of our tv room and listen to this song, imagining what it would look like if it was a Broadway show and now here we are! I really hope I can see this show soon in person, from everything I’ve seen it’s just as magical as I could have hoped for.

she was obviously a bit sick, and yet it's still such a good performance💕 And the journey to the past is the movie version, so she had to sing a bit faster and adjust to the different layout. UGH I LOVE HER SO MUCH

As a child I dreamed of this show, I would run around in my moms prom dress singing journey to the past- and its a role I plan on achieving one day! This is such a special show. Christy is a Powerhouse- i'm so proud of her, and I aspire to be at her level one day! 

(p.s I would LOVE a "Journey to the Past" cover competition or something... that would be so fun.)

I wish my Babcia (Polish for grandma) was still alive. I remember going to the movie theater with her and my dad to watch Anastasia, we were so in love with the story. Sharing the musical with her would have been amazing!
