Registered Democrat in a swing southwest state here. I consider myself moderate. I am still switching my vote to Trump (never voted for him either time). He doesn’t need to be a wordsmith to point out 20% consumer inflation, two hot wars, and 15 million illegal immigrants in this country. What's funny is him saying "a lot of people say that" to back up both of his claims, all while you could strike that and reverse it, and use exactly the same talking point— "A lot of people say that."
