Seeing some comments about thinking his playstyle is boring. I really don’t think it has to appeal to your playstyle, some people love playing ivern who is not for everyone. As long as he has identity that is all that matters champs don’t have to mass apeal

i like the "kinda slow but if he hits clutch E/R in a teamfight it's over 90% of the time" theme he has, if they don't put on him some urf cooldowns or some bullshit true damage he may actually be a good rework

As a skarner main when I saw how slow he was I felt my heart breaking. No more running at the speed pf sound kidnapping people. Goodbye skarner

They purposely kept him as a low damage champion to prevent him from dominating the top lane. He's like a K'Sante that has better teamfighting.

He scales off HP like Mundo on his q 3 hit damage, his W shield, and his E collision damage. The bonus damage from the third hit is % max hp exclusively, his W damage scales only with level same for his passive, and his ult is AP only. So he can hit hard with Heartsteel and late game he might become a problem if you let him scale too high. Someone like Vayne would be a hard counter though plus doing any form of hard CC during his E stops him.
