Probably the girl at the ending of cutscene is the mother. Also, during datamining, you can also see a model with her face uncovered(very similar to kyrie), hinting there were some plans for her at the beginning.

Fun Fact: in DMC3 Dante as teenager. And Vergil visit Fortuna before DMC3.
so he got Nero mother pregnant as a teenager

My favorite part about the Special Editions of DMC is probably how whenever you start as Vergil there’s an absolutely unnecessary cutscene of him being badass for no reason at all other than it looks cool 😂

so... I have a guess who the next game or some maybe some time down the game series. During the early release info of DMC5 before the game launched and was announced, the official DMC website would update with info as time progressed. During which time profiles were given of the main characters and details about them. In these details, from what I can remember, gave info on what species each person was. In the case of Nero however, he wasn't labeled as a "Demon" or "human" but "???". This leads me to believe they MIGHT, not solid evidence, retcon that Nero's mother is an some form of Angel. This is somewhat similar to how DMC:DMC portrait Dante and Vergil as in that game.
This might be evidence as to why Nero's DT seems so dramatically different to other demons, as of my knowledge. With this in mind, might explain as to why and possibly rewrite why Nero's DT in DMC4 was also vastly different yet similar to his DMC5 variant.
