Awesome video, Daiki! Appreciate the UX discussion – that's something that's often overlooked in professional tools. If anyone has any questions or whatnot, we're happy to answer them!

This is the only film box video that I can find. This feels like the route to go.

What is with this assertion among younger groups - and some older individuals - to associate the look of analog film with “nostalgia”? I know this is only a short video and you are summarising these tools quickly, so I’m not blaming you, but it is something I hear consistently. For many people, including myself, it is associated with “quality”, “storytelling”, and “artistic” imagery, or a feeling of “impressionism”. Isolating film elements with modern digital tools, such as grain, halation, gate weave, etc. doesn’t mean they are being used exclusively to evoke imagery from a bygone era; unless, of course, that is the desired goal.

One more to add in to the 'mix' - FilmConvert Nitrate - same features/quality as Dehancer but at a MUCH lower cost...

I thought you presented a great take on both; thank you. I am a Dehancer user and agree with your comments.

This video seems to have an extremely heavy amount of glow, both in the example footage as well as your talking head segment on the couch. I understand this may be a stylistic preference on your part, but I'd love to see this comparison without the glow effect, as it's somewhat distracting. Otherwise, keep up the great work !

Forget about the price, what people forget to mention is, do you have an minimum extra 8 hours for every 10 minutes of footage added to your export time?

Could you possibly do a video on how to set up the node tree at 2:10? New to davinci but i want to purchase filmbox.

Filmbox should sell an educational/non profit version for those who aren’t making money and just making art. $1000 is just too much to spend on something that might not even work in a year if daVinci decides to change something or a different computer technology comes out.

Awesome video man! Btw I think you missed 1 "at the end" to jump cut. 5:37. But leave it anyway, the video is good!

I tried both and I went with Dehancer as it give more flexibility.I am a hobbyist too but I just pay for the convenience

I keep hearing that Film Box is the better out of the two, I know it comes down to what you need it for BUT what actually are the big differences between Dehancer and FilmBox that make Filmbox the one people go
