Servo motors are great devices that can turn to a specified position. Usually, they have a servo arm that can turn 180 degrees. Using the Arduino, we can tell a servo to go to a specified position and it will go there. As simple as that! Here we will see how to connect a servo motor and then how to turn it to different positions.

I recommend! You not connect directly the servo motor to the Arduino. I suggest you use external power to the servo. SG90 Mini RC servo motors can be used.

Mert Arduino, THANKS A LOT for teaching us how to move our servos! You forgot to tell us how to connect the battery on the video, but I have already told everyone how it works. Another thing I would like to understand is logic the void loop, but I will do my job to understand it. Thanks again!

I used a DC-Battery. Do the following steps: 1. Connect the servo to the Arduino UNO as the video shows BUT CONNECT AN EXTRA BLACK/BROWN WIRE (or jumper) to GND (there are two GNDs in the Arduino UNO). 2. Take your protoboard and connect the other side of the extra black/brown wire from the ARDUINO UNO to the - (negative, called GND too) of the protoboard. 3. Connect the protoboard to the DC Battery as usual (a red wire/jumper to the + (positive) of the protoboard and a black wire/jumper to the - (negative or ground) of the protoboard. Thats all!

I have done the exact same thing with the exact same servo but the Arduino (Elegoo Uno R3) flickers on and of and the servo doesn't rotate smoothly, help

Ancak cok onemli bir sorum var.
Kullandiginiz servo motor icin nasil bir pil veya kaynak kullandiniz. Yorumlarda motorlarin hareket etmemesinin sebebi yeterli akim olmadigi icin demissiniz. Bu kesinlikle dogru yalniiz buna care olarak birsey bulamadim. Bildiginiz bir sey varsa onerebilirmisiniz.

Can the Arduino be programmed such a way that when it receives +5 volts at one of it's analog or digital ports, the servo motor turns to 60° or 90° or 120°?

i copy totally your code but when i text "0" servo motor run forward, i text "180" servo motor run backword, and 90 motor stop. what should i do now?
