I really like this more serious take on Telemachus. I know the song and MICO's voice are very youthful and adventurous, but I don't think this animatic betrays that- I think it shows a young man who takes his responsibilities seriously while still quietly being a dreamer. Also your Antinous is SUCH a jock lol, just this brick wall of a person. Nice work!

The Le-le-legendary part. the stuttering went perfectly with him, trying to catch the scroll.

Helping the bird with the water. Headcanoning that was Athena

Telemachus being scared and hiding just outside the opening to the banquet hall.

Telemachus not reacting to Antinous’ taunts until he says “so we can fun with her”. Telemachus isn’t angry that his mother was called a tramp, he’s angry that this disrespectful bozo threatened to assault his mother.

Ya know I really like the decision of making the second legendary line being a result of Telemachus kinda getting lost in his thoughts and nearly falling over. I like how it can tie into the fight with Antinuous later with him not being an experience fighters and not having great coordination. I also like the little wave he gives to Penelope. I love how Penelope is so exhausted but lights up when she sees it. It is such a small family moment that is cute! Then there is the helping the owl drink. It shows despite Telemachus having these fantasy of these grand acts of heroism he is still just a nice guy who will go outta his way to help in small ways. I also like how before going to confront the suitors he looks at the ring to give him courage. Ya know the real benefit to making Telemachus actually look like a young man is showing just how intimidating Antinuous actually is. Also making him so huge really sells this being a chance for Telemachus to face his own monster.

Can we please take a second to appreciate how dope the backgrounds and lines are? Because that sure took HOURS and I love how it looks! You're amazing! Also, they've already said it, but I love how Telemachus here is actually a prince with responsibilities and, y'know, a job and tasks, because he is supposed to be 20 despite how young (teen) the song makes him sound.
