Today I'm catching QantasLink’s inaugural A220-300 flight from Melbourne to Canberra. This aircraft is set to revolutionise regional travel in Australia, they will be replacing the ageing Boeing 717s in the QantasLink fleet. With a range of up to 6,390 km, they're capable of flying non-stop between any two destinations in Australia. I’m excited to be one of the first passengers to experience it! Let’s go!

It’s great to see you’re from Adelaide like i am originally flying to Canberra where I live. I appreciate the acknowledgement of the flying art series livery and the meaningful message behind it.

As a Canberra resident, I would love to see Qantas launch direct international flights from Canberra with these A220s. New Zealand would be a great starting spot, and I am planing to fly there soon and going via Sydney or Melbourne is sooo annoying. Qantas as Australia’s flag carrier should give us international flights from Australia’s capital

I noticed the plane was mostly empty. I flew home out f Sidney to LAX on Feb 13 and was shocked. There were three seats for every passenger!? Never been on a Qantas flight between the US and Australia with more than a handful of empty seats before. It was awesome for the passengers and the flight crew.
As always, enjoyed your video.
