Good complicated questions. Not so easy to answer.
1. Claire mentioned a statement according to that our surroundings changes with us. I sooner disagree with the saying. Too much depends on particular circumstances.
2. Claire fell down in u-bahn and hurt her ankle;
3. She described it like thousands of needles in her ankle;
4. I injured my ankle last year while walking. I thought I broke my bone but it turned out ok. I think everybody must damage an ankle at least once in his life. It’s an essential experience)

1) When we strive to become better than we are, everything around us becomes better too. I'm absolutely agree with this saying, because it's the point of our life. Be better than the past
2) She got injured her left ankle
3) It was like a feeling og thousands of needles piercing her left ankle
4) Yes, I have. When I was a teenager, I went to a volleyball section. One of the day when we were playing a game I landed badly on my left foot. I also got injured my left ankle. It was a bad experience of my life

1. Claire mentions in the fext the saying: "When we strive to become better than we are, everything around us becomes better too.". Yes, I agree with the saying and can offer one more saying: "Be the change that you wish to see in the world." because you are the builder of your life and no one another, taking the things happening around depends on you, and the turns of your life are in your hands.
2. Claire got injuresd inthe safest place in the world. She managed to hurt her ankle in the city woth perfectly flat roads and tons of warning signs. When she was walking downstairs to the subway, she didn't notice an extra step. So she fell down, heard a crack in her leg at that moment, it was not clear what it was, her ankle, bine or one of the muscles, she couldn't get up as it hurt so much.
3. The moment she moved her leg she felt much stronger pain than she had felt when she fell down. There was a felling of thousands of needles piercing her left ankle. She felt almost like the mermaid from the fairy by Andersen after she tirned into a human.
4. I have, and more that once. I dance en pointe and it's a common case to stretch the achilles tendon. Oh, when I'm writing it, the whole my body starts hurting)) Getting injured is always rather a bad thing...

1. Claire mentioned an old saying that states the better we become the better becomes everything around us. I don't think so because we hardly often can influence people or things around us.
2. Claire hadn't noticed a step on the way to a subway so she injured the left ankle.
3. She said that there had been a feeling of thousand of needles piercing the leg.
4. Because of the lockdown in Moscow, I have to do exercises at home. Last week I was running up and down the stairs in my house and I suddenly fell down and hurt the leg. So now I'm a couch potato.

I couldn't get up as it hurt so much, hurts

The more electricity you use, the higher your bill will be.
The higher your bill will be the more electricity you use.
