Bad stuff happens to great people. Right now - in our schools, universities and workplaces - bad stuff happens to everyone. But how do we use these difficulties, and make meaning from the discomfort? Most importantly, how do we learn about ourselves, our research, and our context from this difficulty?

I love your videos, especially that i am going through depression after quitting an academic job in a workplace with all senior male management. I just wanted to suggest a video topic: i am about to give up on research and trying to produce scholarship. Research is really hard in women's history, difficult to access sources, no funding, unanswered inquiries... hard to keep going when this is also unpaid! Why should we keep going publishing scholarship when it is unpaid?
