update suppression is patched so this method doesn't work on 1.19+
using shadow items to teleport the player automatically when the totem pops
you may have seen this used in sipover's civilization video

Explanation: The structure with the rails is an update suppressor which allows the creation of shadow items. These items are "entangled", which means a change to one will mean there's the same change to the other. When my totem pops, the shadow totem in the chest also disappears which is detected and activates the ender pearl chamber. You can have the ender pearl chamber anywhere as long as it's loaded with a chunk loader. The method of item shadowing shown in the video works in vanilla 1.18.
