I was recently asked to upgrade a Z1-822 and there are few tutorials on all-in-ones plus Acer is often snobbishly looked down upon.
On the whole I have found some models to be notably innovative, rugged and internally well made. HP is frequently inferior but overpriced because they can get away with it.
Acer lines its plastic screw holes with alloy "brass" cores, making internal maintenance and upgrade easier for non-specialists and (as you know) are internally very well laid out.
Thank you for clarity and superb filming.
Just one tip with Acer (and Dell too), the SATA hard drive 'interposer' plugs can deteriorate with heat and become loose. When swapping drives I usually use a carefully cut strip of 3M slightly padded duct tape made in Germany to ensure a tight hold, especially as covers and cradles can be slightly misaligned with SSD screw holes.

OK, so, you have taken the hard drive out, which contained Windows 10 etc, and replaced it with a blank SSD. How does the machine boot now without windows etc?

Never buy an all in one unless you really have to. They are made of laptop parts. Most are not this easy to get into either.
