In this video I show you how to repair a dent in your motorcycle fuel tank and spot prime to get ready for custom paint. you will learn how to properly clean, sand and apply body filler (bondo) to smooth out and fix the dent. We then apply an aerosol primer to bridge over the two substrates to prepare for paint. This method works on any type of motorcycle tank and fender on your Harley Davidson, Victory, Honda, Yamaha, Cafe racer, chopper, panhead, shoveled, for, dyna, bagger.

Be sure to check out my other videos to learn how to custom paint.

i thought one of the first steps on prepping the tank for body work would have been to remove the old glue/adhesive from decals or emblems before removing any polish or grease front the surface of the paint. love the paint jobs you come up with.

4:25 Sanding disk is clearly shown as P400, but at 4:27 caption shows "600 Grit".

Are you using a full hvlp gun? Would I be able to complete tank and fenders with a detail gun?
