I personally love the way wilson speakers look. Specially an all black Alexx or XVX. 👌

Dual subs. Always. Made a huge difference even with my BW800 d3s

When are audiophiles going to realize that music, just like food or clothes or anything else in the world is all matter of taste, don't like Wilson speakers? Easy solution, don't buy Wilson speakers, but don't tell other people that they should get this or that.

JL audio cr-1 is the ticket, im running it with two JL f113's. room placement and set-up is critical but when done properly its game changer.

How about a sub with two horizontally opposed 15 inch drivers?

I only have room for 1 sub, a rel S5 SHO with a front firing 12 inch and bottom firing 12 inch passive radiator. There are no spots in the room where the bass is not uniform. That may be because my main speakers have plenty of bass and I have the sub cutoff at 30HZ.

Over the past 25 years or so, I too, on several occasions, have attempted to integrate pairs of subwoofers into my system, and on every occasion, I was left dissatisfied with the results. I chose a true full range pair of speakers to eliminate the need for subs and have been a happy camper every since. Also, I think Wilson Audio speakers look totally awesome and menacing. Wilson speakers look like straight-up, "kick-@#%, " balls-to-the-wall speakers, just the way I like it. I much prefer the looks of the Wilsons over the Magico speakers.

I can only judge Wilson by their appearance. I have not been fortunate enough to own any of these. However - they look like Star Wars theme to me, not ugly. I like the non modern artsy stuff. MBLs are cool looking. Too bad you can't get artsy AND great sound in one. Generally speaking
15" and or 18" sub or larger IMO. I have a 12", a 15", and [4] 8's. Even in this crap room I get pretty even bass from 20 - 500Hz. Start losing pressure at about 300Hz +/- or so(I'm guessing).

Best to have 2 subs and stay away from servo correction Subwoofers unless for HT ..

first off never consider any brand other than rel they"re the only musical sub on the market period a freind added 2 svs 15 inch subs to his system against all advice because svs are strictly a theatre sub definitely not a musical sub after listening to good advice he got rid of the svs subs & got 2 rel 12 inch subs & the results were night & day just a pity he wasted all that money on the svs subs but like he admitted we live & learn
