Why isn’t he PRO?

We got a real photograph of docc in hq I hope you enjoy the handsome squidward energy. No surprise here I think it would be great if he tried playing pro, after watching this match vs Heroic I was convinced. He’s ice cold, very smart and has clean utility usage. Docc would be a problem!

damn coach, the way you break down round 4 where he has to "smooth" the angles.. that shit just clicked. you have the best microanalysis of pro CS out of everyone. way ahead of all the boomers who just know how to yell =] xoxoxo

After playing MANY games with the guy he is definitely talented enough to play pro level, I really wished he took it seriously

Docc has the raw skill/mechanics and the instincts to play pro cs. I think players like him can transition into professional environments but they need time and experience to adapt their style to pro play, like ropz or zywoo for example who worked up the faceit ladders to make a name for themselves. Successful PUG players are interesting since they almost never practice or strategise as a 5 man unit or divide roles for several games to learn to assemble well together. They develop their game and learn how to play many positions/roles and many homemade strats they improvise on the spot. They are forced to be swiss-army knives to progress through pug elo hell. It would be cool to see up to where docc can get in pro CS.

been watching docc for years. he is definitely able to compete in tier one, not even a question. He has zywoo levels of pugging capability

i met d0cc from editing like 6 years ago, he was amazing even back then. I remember asking him to play a UKCS cash cup and he just drops like 50 kills like every game without a mic hahahahah. After that we played a decent bit of faceit and he helped me get level 10, dont speak to him much anymore but ive always wanted to see him get on a top team and he deserves it, maybe he just likes streaming.

Your videos are incredible, the way you break down the game is extremely engaging and understandable without taking forever. Keep it up broski

I think D0cC has said before that he knows he’s good enough to go pro but he doesn’t get on well in serious team settings.

Every time I tune into a doc stream I'm truly blown away by the level of skill he displays every game.
Not only is his aim and cross hair placement second to none.
His most underrated skill is his next to perfect game sense. Truly assembled in an otherworldly fashion.

This has me lowkey worried for the proscene. More good players will realize how easy it is to make streaming a job instead of going pro and the scene will dry out or get to a halt in advancing strategies. League of Legends has this problem where I'd say 80% of high elo players strife to be a streamer instead of a proplayer. This leads to pro teams not getting better or even getting worse when the game gets more advanced and more strategy discoveries get made regularly.
The pro scene ends up with less innovative players and more people just trying to collect paychecks.

This video is basically Lau convincing docc to go pro with his own gameplay, and I love it hahaha

lau is by far the best cs gameplay analyst. He has the insight of how it's best to explain gameplay techniques in a way that the average cs player understands

"Sometimes ape option is the best call"
I lost SO MANY matches on Faceit simply because my Level 10 team wouldn't listen to me communicating this exact same message against an obvious enemy weakness. Oh well, good to know I was probably right in most of them :p

Lau, your knowledge of csgo is low key unfathomable, I learned more things watching this then I did playing casual mm for 5 years
