7 "Normal" Things Sigma Males Have No Interest In.

In the intricate design of human nature, most men are subtly programmed to pursue and express interest in certain common themes - sports, fashion trends, pop culture - all seemingly a part of an unwritten societal code. This widespread tendency stems from the tribal mentality deeply ingrained in us from our prehistoric ancestors; it's a survival mechanism where fitting in and being accepted by the group meant safety. But amidst this societal norm, there emerges a rare breed of men known as sigma males. These enigmatic men deviate from the conventional narrative, demonstrating little to no interest in what is often considered "normal" by the average man. Their interests can be wildly varied or highly specific, often delving into areas untouched by the mainstream. While this might isolate them from typical social groups, it's this very distinctness that makes them intriguing, painting them as mavericks who value their individuality over societal conformity. So, what are some of these common things that sigma males tend to have little to no interest in, that everyone else tends to care a lot about? Well, here’s 7 normal things sigma males have no interest in.

Number 8: Do not suffer the preoccupation of blindly following a sports team and become hostage to it's success or failure.

I've often believed that we Sigma are just Men that schools failed to indoctrinate. Everyone I know is obsessed with social norms, and they are dedicated to trying to get me on board.

I find “normal” disturbing. I find bizarre disturbing. Only rational, moral behavior is comforting. Drama is evil and disastrously destructive.

Just one comment for the last one, sigma males know that it's not clothes or money or color of skin or even heritage that defines a person who he or she really is, it's his/ hers individual personality who makes each person who they really are

Couldn't agree more, especially about social media.
And for those struggling to find a woman, you will probably not find a good woman fitting for your personality on social networks.
But usually a sigma male doesn't even care about that.

I've always been labelled as "strange" because my interests didn't fit the ones of society or because I don't have socials besides YT.
If someone wants to truly keep in touch with a person no social media are required.

Practicality over pretentiousness. Functionality over form. Sigma constantly assesses benefit and value in everything. "Is this activity/product worthwhile?" takes precedence over *any* kind of social influence. Social media is a can of worms. I already know what's in the can. No need to open.

Yet another video that describes me perfectly. I've never cared about any of the things mentioned here. At the end of the day they're either a scam, a waste of time, a way to control the sheeple, or all of the above combined.

Some of the best products - and books, and films, and especially musicians and composers - I have found are very "off brand": unknown or undervalued. I choose my own apparel, my own cuisine, my own haircut, and my own entertainment, according to what I perceive as having intrinsic value. I do not avoid it if it happens to be popular, but I do not choose it for being popular. Being different is not my conscious purpose; it is the inevitable effect.

I never liked brand names. Just good quality clothes. I never would have a fancy car . I never in my 56 years followed a new fad . I’m generally quiet in a crowd and would rather listen and . I have no problem being alone and much prefer it than being surrounded by people. Every thing mentioned in this video is me . I thought I was just different. Very strong willed. I have an above average IQ . I never finished high school and taught myself mathematics in my own way . Taught myself about a vast range of subjects and can converse with any kind of people. I’m happy to know I’m in a minority and I’m quite happy to never advertise it to anyone either.

I can see myself in just about everything you said here. The only time I go for a name brand is with something like tools because you get what you pay for, buy cheap by twice. I spend a lot of time on my own which I enjoy and to be honest I feel uncomfortable in a group, I don’t seem to relate with others and my mind just goes elsewhere. I probably come over as ignorant and offish but I’m really not, I’d talk to and I’d help anyone etc, I just don’t get what others get if that makes sense.

Always thought I was just a loser who didn’t care to fit in with “normal” people.
Good to know there are other Sigma Males like me out there in the world!

I've had one "hero" in my life. R Buckminster Fuller. I met him when I was very young, and he was very old. Listened to him speak for well over an hour, then sat next to him as he answered questions about everything in a casual setting for two hours. He was brilliant and humble. When he spoke, the entire audience smiled. with his words. Learn about him. He was greatness.

I feel an act more Sigma now that I have lost 50 lbs and now have a flat stomach at the age of 60. I accomplished this through fasting which requires tremendous self discipline. I now wear fitted shirts, sport coats and Fedoras in the cooler months along with a fragrance everyday. I've never had more attention from females my entire life. I'm talking teens(lots of teens) to 70's. I feel like I am who I was always meant to be. Better late than never but low self esteem from an unhappy childhood hindered me for 50+ years. Better late than never.

It is very much like me. On average these videos are about 90% like me and at 40, I feel blessed understanding at last what sets me apart and why others sometimes find me weird and me them slightly stupid. I'd very very much like to know who is behind this huge educational effort for the fringe, with which resources and why.

Another very accurate video, but I have seen in a few of your videos that most sigma males are not sports per se. I am not a humongous sports fan but I'm definitely a baseball and football fan.

Where I am different with that is I could care less if I come across someone famous. They are just a famous person whether it's an actor or an athlete.

I can care less about getting their autograph, and if I were to be managing a restaurant and one of them walked into my restaurant and there was an hour wait, they are going to wait just like everyone else is, I'm not worried about who you are or how much money you have

Great video! How funny, for I don’t do brands either. Just try telling that to Apple electronic consumers who have their phone life deliberately shortened so as to buy another new version of the brand!

Exception, when buying tools, the brand often matters, and you usually get what you pay for. It isn't a bias based on status, it is a bias for precision and functionality.
