I think she secretly admires him. He is the only person she has ever met that is just as ruthless as she is and has a clear life rule: Protect those he cares about. He has absolutely no hidden agendas, and he gives good advise, but only when needed. Someone that would make a terrific ally and a deadly enemy, best to stay on his good side. :) She may even secretly hope to sway him into being her hammer now that her spy is dead.

It's one of my favorite facets of Amos, that he's low-key into Krisjen a little bit. It's one of my favorite moments where, I think it was Holden, was talking about meeting with her, and Amos asks "Hey, what was she wearing?"
