I did this in my 87 Prelude SE back in 1996. It had a blue interior, painted it flat black. We used a flexible primer though.
Dyed the seats, door. everything I could.
Sourced a new used grey/black dash.

A saying i always say. Progress is progress even if you went outside. Knocked out one item and then the heat got to you or your body or whatever. You gave it the drive to get a piece of the puzzle added.

Not gonna lie, I was a bit iffy watching you do the carpet and spraying the trims but I actually think they turned out really good. I'm contemplating doing my hatch now. Thanks for the vids!

Hey brother,
If you don't like the way the headliner turns out, have you considered flocking that too?

Great progress update!

What ive learned the hard way is to use an adhesion promotor for plastic parts because the paint over time starts to peel if you don't i used this paint on my EF interior parts and after a year it looked really bad.

Looks like it turned out great. I never thought about using that for a headliner. It looks like the headliner turned out good too.

I'm shocked how good the paint turned out because I've seen that stuff not work as well. I've seen many people end up using the SEM brand, but it's pricey! I hope to see some updates and seeing its longevity!
