Which method would you choose to seed your garden?

I challenged my clone to a seeding race to demonstrate the difference between these two seeding methods. Which option would you choose?

Best part is that most of these tools can be bought used at very good prices. And often the older the tool is the better it works. I still use my grandmas garden seeder. The things close to 80 years old and still works like a dream.

I have one of those seeding tools, it is handy for some situations certainly. I find it doesn’t do as well when you are planting small amounts of seeds, if you have a lot of something to plant it is great

Does the seeder work for larger seeds like corn and also smaller like carrots?

Nah I'd get addicted to crack or something I grow a garden on the side of the road.

My question is why are you growing food on the sidewalk

That is assuming you are working with sandy soils. If you are working in clay, good luck making that mechanical seeder accomplish anything

I would be way more worried about exhaust fumes getting all over the food the food you're going to eat let alone in the soil you're growing it in
