Pope washes feet on Holy Thursday

Pope Francis washed and kissed the feet of Muslim, Christian and Hindu refugees Thursday and declared them all children of the same God, as he performed a gesture of welcome and brotherhood at a time of increased anti-Muslim sentiment following the Brussels attacks.

1977. Still fresh and very vivid from my memory file. When I was only 11- y/o in my small village, an Italian catholic archbishop came and visited our elem. school. My fellow pupils were in queue and were instructed by our teacher in Cathechism, to kneel or bow down and kiss the feet of the visiting foreign catholic archbishop seated in a rocking chair that time. But it was just the complete opposite of this picture shown here. That was totally shocking to me when I did that! I regretted it now. That Italian archbishop should have done and copied what the Pope did here in this video. I would then be a lot happier that time.

I continue to pray for God's absolute love, humility and gentleness to bless the Pope in mending broken hearts, reducing anger, lowering hating blood pressure and so our children and future generation might still have some peace. May Peace and Blessing of Jesus Christ send to all who have posted on this video. May the Holy Spirit's Power of this Jubilee Year 2016 transform the face of the earth with its arrogance & hateful world to a brand new paradise for all.

This great man (Pope) understands the true message of Islam, the real Islam as well as any other religions true message / essence which is Peaceful co-existence, love, courtesy, respect & justice for everyone even though you don't agree what they believe. This is called universal brotherhood and he understands that better & that's why he is not blaming innocent refugees or not against refugees in Europe. He knows that these people are NOT terrorists rather they are the victim of terrorists / terrorism. There was, are and will be always some bad / spoil apples everywhere, but that does not mean apples are bad. So we need to stand together regardless of religion, culture, geography and so on against any kind of Evil acts, Injustice, Terrorism & so on rather than generalize, marginalize, spreading hate, fear and anger against certain religion, people, nation or culture.
