My granddaughters teacher had told her humans came from apes, thanks to your videos and others like it i was able to explain to her that we weren't from apes and how evolution actually happened.

For the sake of discussion, let us go with the theory that human and chimpanzee genomes are 30 million bases separate. The supposed common ancestor was 15 million bases closer to chimpanzees than humans are to chimpanzees. Therefore human genome has diverged from chimpanzees at the rate of 5 bases per year. Going back in time, human ancestors must have been 2.5 bases per year closer to chimpanzees. Pharaoh's mummy should be 7500 bases closer to chimpanzees. Anyone can see these numbers are unreasonable.
