This trick is OK. But even if you upload a file to shared storage, it takes space from your login drive. You better use the account separately.

First of all, you must first have good Google Drive storage in your first Google account so that the storage is shared with the DRIVE which is explained in the video and should work like this.

Love it hahaha screw google! I will use this when my 2tb subscription is full. Eventually I'll move away from Google altogether for privacy reasons and only use backend of their AI to organise photos then remove them from the cloud immediately afterward doing so in small numbers I can just download entire albums without screwing up meta-data and then having to fix it with exif tool, but right now I have over 100k photos and videos and it's a hell of a mess. Google has said that starting December of 2023 they will start tl delete inactive accounts that aren’t used in 2 years or more.

I suggest that you only create an account when the one you are currently using has no storage left
