Slow Motion/Fast Motion Lip Sync for music video

This was done in CINE 425, Making Music Video, taught by the Real Dr. Dre™ aka dj food stamp as part of the Cinema Studies Program at the University of Oregon.

I've been trying to understand how they always create the slow-mo effect even though the singers are synchronized with the song. I knew that it had to do with the song being lipsynced to at a faster speed! Thank you so much for clearing up my head!!

Thank you for not using ridiculous and silly words to explain what must be done to copy your method. I was so frustrated with a Ton of videos that only explained 50% of what we needed to know.

Always wanted to try the 30fps technique that’s done with film and music videos, but our DSLRs only do 60fps not 30fps, making it more of a challenge. Am about to shoot a music demo for a songwriter using this technique. Wish it could be done at 1.25x and not 2.5x, but it is what it is. Thanks for confirming that’s how it has to be done. Yours is the only video I’ve been able to find that illustrates this. Cheers.

i love it how he seems to say 'that's the one' at the End of the slowmo one. Must have been a lot of takes to get it right.

Hi Guys, I really need your help, please help; I speed the track to 200% in premiere pro cc2018, then shot in 60fps, 25p on Blackmagic Ursa. Ive been struggling to get the right maths

the song plays too fast for me to sing and the pitch is too high to understand...any suggestions?

I'm still stuck on how to export the song at 250%Properly. I'm exporting it back out at 2.5 in (Lock To Stretch) And it is indeed faster but when I tried syncing a 60 frame converted to 24 it seemed off... Don't think I exporting this properly... Help Please....

How does one shoot at 250%? I understand you chose 24fps as the video output in post. But you can't shoot the video at 250%
