I have been flying this a lot with and without the FPV Controller. You 100% need more batteries, one battery won't be enough but it has some excellent upgrades over the original Avata. Once you have the confidence, the FPV controller will make the whole experience even better.

Just a heads-up, though: Avata 2 actually rocks a 46GB storage capacity, not 48GB. But superb content as always!

The rear cameras are actually for positioning. It does not detect obstacles FYI...

@DMProductions Great review, Sir!!! I am definitely getting the Avata 2. Looks like many upgrades in this one. I also plan to get the FPV Controller 3 as well, so I can use both controllers. Freewell has a whole set of Avata 2 ND filters, the mega pack including UV and PL filters. And yes, DJI has included stickers with all of their packages, I got some when I bought my Pocket 3. Great stuff!! Thanks as always

Great video. I received mine a little over a week ago. I finally flew it this past weekend. I like it allot. The only thing I do not like is that you can not do flips on sports mode. Also, for some reason. I feel like my Avata 1 seems faster. Maybe it's just me.
