I think Pedro and Chantel were in love. The mistake they both make, was bringing both families into their marriage. Both families are crazy, they should've prioritized their marriage and moved to another state, away from both families. Their disagreements and argument should've stay in doors but they also decide to invite the world into their marriage. This why celebrities marriage never last because the world would always have an opinion about their life. And the sad part is that I don't think they have learned. Both of their families are controlling, manipulative and crazy.

I thought from the brginning that Pedro really loved Chantel, the way he looked at her, called her Pinky and so on. Both of their families were too toxic, especially his in the beginning, but hers as well as they refused to leave the van when they were at his grandmas house for example. His mom and sis were after the money, they didnt care Chantel was still in school and they were a young couple try to start their new life, theyy´re both Golddiggers even when it comes to their own son/brother.
Nicole hated Chantel from the very beginning, she even tried setting him up with that one girl, but acted rather innocent in front of Pedro, he just didnt want to see his sisters true colours.
