If Pedro didn't cheat, he definitely was disrespectful to her or the marriage by coming home at 3 o'clock in the morning as a married man and bringing coworkers stuff, make-up at home and his car. Plus, when she started to question him, he felt like he didn't owe her any answer or explanation as soon as he got his green card, come on❗

If you have watched the show for some years, you will realize there is a pattern. Her mom feeds her some kind of supposed information, or put some kind of negative thoughts in her head. She (Chantal ) dwells on the info whether true or not. Gets all worked up, confronts Pedro with yelling, screaming, and fake tears.. Yet in all their plotting and schemes, hiring a p.i., etc they never found any evidence that he was lying about his love, that he actually cheated, or that he was only using her for money(he gets his own money from the show and works)... Yet she is constantly calling him, she's constantly going to the d.r. to "confront " him but making herself look crazy. Which looking back, she's definitely unstable smh Yet Pedro will forever be seen as the ultimate villain (that's the narrative TLC Is pushing) smh
Oan: If their meddling mothers and equally unstable siblings(Nicole and River) could've stayed out of their marriage they might've had a chance. Smh😔

Poor Chantel??? Ugh. Everyone forgets the history. I agree it sucks seeing someone suffer like she’s suffering. It already hurts to break up with someone. But when you realize it’s because of family influence that makes it harder. I think Chantel let her family get too involved and it spiraled out of control. Like a typical American she felt entitled and thought Pedro was going to stick around. When he wished her well and said he really did love her that hit different. This woman knowwws him. She believed it. That’s why she freaked out. She freaked out because she has to believe he is the bad guy to move on. Despite all of the issues on both sides, she has to believe he was a user, and abuser, a cheater. No woman wants to admit they were the reason they lost the love of their life. That’s too hard to accept so she tells herself he cheated, he’s evil, he planned this from the beginning. It’s very sad. Also to see so much bias comments about foreigners is crazzzzyyy. If you watch the show from the beginning you know how this started and who is to blame for where they are. If you like Chantels family I seriously question either your knowledge of the show or your attitude toward people from other cultures. Just saying.

Pedro filed for divorce before he even got citizenship even after speaking to a lawyer! No one does that! He loved her and her disrespect, controlling ways and lack of support pushed him away and angered him! That's why he's behaving this way! We all saw her family disrespect him and his family! and no matter what they want to say about Pedro's family, Chantels family has been 10x more disrespectful and were disrespectful first!

We saw them barge into his personal space and belittle him! We saw her grab his passport and told him he cant go anywhere! I can't even imagine what was going on behind closed doors! Both of them said he supported her personally and financially through school and for those who said he didn't work he worked in a factory and put that towards chantal and he worked on the show! When it was his turn for a career she was not only not supportive but embarrassed him publicly in front of his co workers like he doesn't matter! Or when he asked for a separation and she was breaking down doors!

You bigots don't want to acknowledge that Pedro is a human being with feelings and rights! But whether you like it or not he is! And he can leave a crazy heifer and her disrespectful family whenever he wants!

I think he DID love Chantel. It changed. Things change for many people way sooner than they did for Chantel and Pedro.
