I'm still in my 20s but people have always said that I dress like an "old woman" so watching your videos has really helped me to start considering what I value in my personal style and how I can marry together my young-ish age and my love for more classic, structured, pieces that a lot of people my age don't consider trendy. Thank you Audrey for all the work you do!

"Age is a gift. The older we get, the luckier we are to see another year"
I really in love with her quotes here <3

Thank you for this video. As an 82 year old senior, a classic dresser I decided to go gray with my hair when I was turning 80. I’m so glad I did. Inside I don’t feel my age and sometimes have to stop myself from feeling much younger. However, always positive and loving travel, I met a man (my age) who has many similar attributes as myself. He’s brought so much joy to my life and vice versa. Who says life is dull and boring at 80. We don’t.

My mom was a real Southern Belle. She wore beautiful hats and tied ribbons or scarves on them to match her outfit. She always had on her red lipstick and as her curly hair turned white she was more stunning than ever. Her clothes always fit just right and heads turned when she walked into a room. She kept it up until she passed away a year and a half ago at age 90.

Hi Audrey, as a husband, I am so glad you share this!
Both my wife and I are turning 40, and the other day she told me she’s too old for mini skirt. I kept telling her why is there an age restriction? I think it looks great on her!
I’m so glad you share your thought on this. I share this video with her =)
And by the way, I LOVE your voice! (The main reason I subscribe to your channel!) it’s so soothing and relaxing! I wish you can do an audio book of some sort =)

I LOVE this video for two big reasons: 1) the affirming message that we should dress in the ways that make us happy, and 2) the wonderful selection of pictures of women of all ages, races, sizes, etc. dressing with so much gorgeous style!

Don’t dress like you have aged, dress like you have LIVED. ♥️
I am thankful that I have lived long enough to begin to shed the fears and pressures of dressing for others. Every outfit tells our story, however long.
I am keen to see people shifting to this view of fashion where we are not marketing ourselves but using clothes as a way to express the uniqueness of our experience and our soul.

My age has brought me a confidence I never had before. I am enjoying my 30s way more than my 20s. This is reflected in my clothing as well.

I am 35 and never felt so womanly and beautiful. I finally understand that my style are dresses from natural fabrics (linen), skirts and flowers in my hair. Finally I don't care if people like it. I started to think about my colors and it helps so much :) thank you Audrey, you have so much kindness in you.

I'm 71 and have learned to dress to suit myself. At this age I no longer think about what others think. I love classic styles and I also love color. I still wear shorts only now they are usually in the form of a skort. That gives me shorts but the look of wearing a skirt. Fashion is fun.

I’m 50+ and I love the confidence I’ve gained over the years. My mom passed in July at 92 and loved all the latest style!!She loved her tailor and cleaners. Everything she wore had to be pressed. Mom wore makeup and pantyhose😜. At the end of her life I hope we honored her style by keeping her & bedding cleaned, lotion her skin, combing her hair and having her presentable to visitors! I hope to my end I’ll maintain my own inward & outward style, beauty and uniqueness💕

I'm 29 and I've been experiencing "age pressure". I sometimes still compare myself to my peers and get disappointed because I feel like I'm behind. I constantly need to remind myself that life is not a race and that I am robbing myself of happiness by subjecting my mind to this kind of thoughts. I'm slowly having less and less care on superficial metrics such as finances, belongings, achievements and so forth. I try to pursue what really matters to me. It's a work in progress.

It’s like listening to the Bob Ross of minimalism, fashion and practicality. There’s no mistakes, it’s just figuring out your personal style 🙂

I really appreciate this video. I'm in my mid-forties and started thinking "am I dressed appropriately for my age"? I thought this video was going to be "20's: mini-skirts, trendy clothes" to "50's: start dressing more conservatively". So I truly appreciate the comment that "we should dress how we want". And as I understand it, this video is saying "stay true to yourself" no matter what age. Thank you!

I'm close to 74 and I truly wear whatever I feel looks good on me. I love dresses, I love sleeveless tops, all manner of things. If I put something on and make a face when I look in the mirror, I take it off and put it in the donation box that lives in my closet. The only thing I've given up is very high heels because they no longer feel comfortable. I also am a huge makeup fan and every morning I get up, clean up, make up, dress up and show up even if I'm not leaving the house (which is definitely the case here in Florida right now). Thanks for this great video.
