My mum told me last night that she remembers Liverpool winning the league on my father’s 21st birthday in 1973 and he was drinking beer out of her shoe :) Then, on 28th April 1990 (my father’s birthday) Liverpool won the league and I played in a final at Anfield directly before the match... an incredible experience when I was 10 years old. Little did I know that it would take so long to win it again! My father passed away 13 years ago. ✌️⚽️
