Kaliya Franklin didn't think she'd be a leading disability campaigner when she recorded a video blog message for the Prime Minister last year after he announced cuts to the Disability Living Allowance.

A disabled person herself, Kaliya lives outside Liverpool and now coordinates The Broken of Britain network to help give disabled and long-term sick people a voice in the process of welfare reform.

How can the government do this to the most vulnerable and the most deserving members of the community and sleep at night? I suppose it is because their consciences are dulled by too much champagne.
