Wow, great walk through. I’ve been making various cables as needed for 25+ years. After watching this, I’m not sure I ever knew what I was doing. 😊

You're saving my life with these videos. I'll keep ordering your equipment out of pure loyalty at this point.

Nice tip with the metal rod for clearing the kinks.

Terminating was extremely fast. I'll be honest I don't have as good of a physical grip anymore and in the past, its taken me 20-45 min to do 1 rj45. This took 5-10 min tops. I'm using better cable that I normally was which also aided in it! Thank you for the tools and video walk through!

I've never done this stuff before but your video is the best at explaining what to do and why to do it I've found. Thank you for sharing your knowledge!

I'll be so excited when that crimper is back in stock again. I was hoping to grab one on my trip to the US this month, but looks like I'll be borrowing a friend's crimper for a while.

I've never tried pass through before, although I did try load bars last week and I'll never know how I made good cables without them. They get the jacket almost all of the way up to the teeth. Good stuff.

Hi, can we use CAT6A Cable on Cat6 Keystone and connector ?

What determines when an extra-large Cat 6a connector would be used?
Which is preferred for residential use: shielded or unshielded Cat 6a?
Appreciated the video; clear, concise. Wish the background was a different color for better viewing.

What are your thoughts on using pass through connectors in POE use cases? Iv seen alot of mixed feelings on the subject online.

Installed new cat6 pass through connector on CAT6 POE works….no ACTY light on switch….tested with fabricated CAT5e cable and POE and ACTY light work tried three new connectors at each end…….any ideas ? Tested cable with inexpensive Tester and all lights show positive test. I used the same crimp tool ( blue in Color )

I am enjoying your trueCABLE videos, and I have a question. Do I need to make sure I use CAT6A connectors on just CAT6A cable or can I use it on CAT 6 cable also? Do I need to use only CAT6A connectors on CAT6A cable or can I use CAT6A connectors on CAT6 cable, does it always have to be matched or can I just buy a big bag of CAT6A connectors and keystones and use that for both CAT6A and CAT6? I must have been able to word that better but I hope you know what I mean?
